Regional tennis center
The Regional Social-Tennis Center is an innovative building of public and social significance that will be constructed in Gajeva Street, opposite the southeastern part of the City Cemetery, within the area of the tennis courts of the city of Đakovo.
This modern infrastructure will become the epicenter of tennis life in the region, providing abundant opportunities for recreational and professional sports activities. It will consist of two floors, offering exceptional facilities for all visitors.
The ground floor will include an indoor tennis court, vestibule, entrance hall, fitness center, restrooms, sauna, storage room, technical room, and other amenities to ensure complete comfort and functionality. The upper floor will feature a cafe-bar, office, restrooms, storage room, and terrace, creating a pleasant environment for socializing and relaxation.
By constructing the regional tennis center, our aim is not only to provide an excellent space for TK Đakovo but also to create opportunities for the entire region. We intend to organize international tournaments and offer training for national teams at all levels. Considering the lack of similar facilities in the region, TK Đakovo sees an opportunity to put the city of Đakovo on the tennis map of the world.
This ambitious project will promote the development of tennis, foster a competitive spirit, and create a place that brings together the tennis community from the entire region. We invite all tennis enthusiasts to join this initiative and become part of the history of tennis in Đakovo. The project is supported by the City of Đakovo, Osijek-Baranja County, and the Croatian Tennis Association (HTS).
The estimated value of the project is 19 million kuna.
